Pastor Pearcy first came to this congregation on Father’s Day 1991 and has now served as our pastor for over twenty-six years (on a forty year assignment).  He and his wife, Davene, have ministered side by side since their wedding day in 1988.

The Pearcy’s arrived in Bentonville without children and still in their twenties.  The years have come and gone and many things have changed but their passion for people remains the same.  Every Sunday on the platform with her husband, you will find Davene, an amazing wife with a passion for ministry and for her family.

Since arriving in Bentonville, the Lord has blessed our pastors with three wonderful children who are each actively serving in ministry:

  • Tabitha lives in Waxahachie, Texas and is a licensed minister. She works for the North Texas District of the Assemblies of God. She is a graduate of Victory Bible College and Southwestern University.
  • Joshua lives in Midland, Texas. He serves at Elevate Church and works for Peek Security. He is a graduate of Victory Bible College.
  • Seth lives in Bentonville, AR and owns and operates his own company called Seth Solutions. He also is a student at Full Sail University online. He enjoys serving at RLC overseeing the janitorial team and helps with the IT department.

Since April 2013 Pastor Pearcy has served as the President of the Full Gospel Evangelistic Association overseeing an international network of churches, ministers and ministry agencies. Since 2002 he has served as an instructor, at Ecclesia College, in Springdale, AR. (Five of those years as chairman of the Bible and Theology Department). He also serves as a Benton County Sheriff’s Chaplain, as well as serving on various ministry and community boards and committees.

Pastor Pearcy has a Bible degree from Southwestern University in Waxahachie, TX.  He holds a teaching degree from Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, OK; a Master’s in Biblical Literature from the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary in Springfield, MO; and an earned Ph.D. in Pneumatology from Great Commission Bible College and Seminary. Currently, he is taking seminary classes through Dallas Theological Seminary.
